The View From Here

It's mid August and I'm sitting on our deck watching the rice grow. There about 30 acres of rice paddy in the terraced fields in front of our house. This time of year we're deep into the summer monsoons and it rains a bit or a lot every day. This is why I can literally watch the rice grow.

And today there was a little rainbow.
